OMG, you should have seen her eyes open wide as saucers and stare at my flat stomach. It was so funny! (And flattering to think I’d be considered young enough to get pregnant!)
I hadn’t finished my whole sentence: I’m pregnant with something new inside of me. I can feel it growing.
Do you ever feel that way, too?
An idea ready to be born?
I’m going through some changes. And, to be honest, it’s a bit scary not knowing exactly what to expect or when. Confusion. A little fear? Maybe a lot of fear? Right? Are you wondering about a new idea? A new direction? A new program? A new niche? What’s stirring up in you?
This could be a short gestation or longer than the typical human gestation of nine months. All I know, it will come when it comes.
This is the time to be open. To surrender. To listen and watch for opportunities to present themselves. And that’s what I want for you, when you’re on the verge of a big leap.
Be ready to receive some new idea. It could be while you’re waiting in line at the grocery story. It could be when you’re having a casual conversation with a friend or relative. It could be when you’re watching your favorite program. Or, when you open a particular email that shares a message as if it was waiting for you.
When these ideas are percolating, you have to be patient, too. Have you noticed? Not one of my strong suits. So, I’m learning to be more patient with the process.
And I’m going to ask you to be patient with me, too.
So expect some things to change. Something a bit different. Something more me. We’ll discover this together. Are you game?
I noticed when I share what I’m going through with my colleagues, they give me some guidance and food for thought that pulls me forward, just where I need to go.
Share with me what changes you’re going through. It can be scary and frustrating, but it doesn’t have to be as long as you’re not alone in the process.
We’re in this together.
To an extraordinary YOU!
If you continue to have challenges, connect with me. Asking for help is a sign of strength and confidence, not a sign of weakness. Stop kidding yourself thinking you’ll figure it out; you would have done it by now.
